Here at Black Vanilla we love Christmas and every year we can’t wait to experiment with new festive flavours. This year we wanted to knock 2013’s offering out of the park, so naturally we looked to our favourite culinary combination: wine and chocolate. That’s correct - get ready to loosen you waistband for Chocolate, Clementine and Cranberry gelato and Mulled Wine Sorbetto, coming to a spoon near you.
We’ve teamed up with Greenwich’s newest and chicest venue - the Now Gallery - for a pop-up on the 26th September. We will be situated outside the bustling 02 Arena to offer some exciting new bespoke flavours, such as Grapefruit and Vodka, alongside Black Vanilla’s signatures. Art, ice cream and alcohol – what more could you want?
We are extremely proud and excited to now make Black Vanilla gelato and sorbetto available nationwide through our partnership with on-line retailer Ocado.
Initially launching with 4 of our 120ml flavours at a great introductory price of £1.29, we will be bringing you a large range of 500ml tubs to choose from later in the year.
We are excited to announce that Black Vanilla will be stocked in the Bulgari Hotel’s Private Screening Room: a 47-seat cinema nestled in the depths of this sumptuous Knightsbridge-based establishment. The venue, which is available for film premiers, private screenings and exclusive events, will feature a bespoke Black Vanilla glass cabinet, with an array of flavours for the hotel’s high-end clientèle.
In September Black Vanilla will be setting up shop at Meatopia, a food festival dedicated to the nation’s carnivores. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to test the boundaries of our gelato, we decided to create some unique meat-inspired flavours to serve at the event, including caramelised bacon and maple syrup, and Venezuelan chocolate, Cointreau and Pig's Blood gelato.
Black Vanilla has been invited to cater a luxurious 3-day wedding event in the homeland of gelato this September. We will be winging our way to sunny Italy to be part of the wedding’s mini street food festival as the sole gelato provider, for the delectation of a large number of lucky wedding guests.
